Executive Chairman of Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar, has Urged appointed officials for 2024 Hajj exercise to be God fairing, diligent while in Saudi Arabia.
The Executive Chairman stated this during thw meeting between the officials and members of the Committee set up by the state government to ensure smooth hajj operation this year, as well as the management of the Agency.
The chairman said the officials of the 2024 Hajj were chosen on merit and so they should serve pilgrims to the best of their abilities and with the fear of Allah (SWT) in mind.
In his remaks, Malam Abdulrazak Zakariyya, Senior Special Assistant to the Kaduna state governor on Religious Matters emphasized the committee’s commitment in ensuring a hitch-free Hajj exercise, urging the unit leaders to fulfil their responsibilities in guiding and protecting pilgrims’ rights.
According to him over 4000 pilgrims will perform this year’s Hajj from Kaduna state across the 23 local government of the state, also reiterated government commitment for a successful Hajj pilgrimage this year.
