Alelawa Fertilizer Asures Farmers In Nigeria With Quality And Affordable Fertilizer

The Alelawa Fertilizer and Chemicals in Sokoto State North-West Nigeria has assured farmers in the country to provide Available and affordable fertilizer to farmers to compliment the federal government efforts on Agricultural sector.

In an interview with newsmen at the factory in sokoto state, the Chairman and chief executive officer of the company Dr. Suleman Abubakar Fana, said Alelawa fertilizer is working hard to ensure affordable and quality fertilizer in a very timely manner to teeming farmers in nooks and crannies of the country.

Dr. Suleman Fara, explained that, the production of NPK 20-10-10 fertilizers with locally sourced materials will be accessible and affordable to farmers and will in turn positively impact of Nigeria’s economy.

The Chairman also commended the Federal Government for encouraging private sectors investment in fertilizer production through its policies and programmes to increase farm inputs or boost food products.

He appealed for the government for the continuous support of fertilizer bleeding plants to further encourage private sector investment in the space.

It will be recalled that the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative, PFI, was flagged-off in December 2016 by President Muhammed Buhari, with the mandate of supporting domestic blending of NPK fertilizer towards reducing the challenges of affordability, accessibility, and application by farmers.
